Some of the most rewarding acts of kindness this club have funded, came, not from a regional, national or international project, but instead sprang from an idea one member had.

If you enjoy helping others, you might like the concept of actually being able to suggest ideas on how the funds are to be spent.

In this club, each member's ideas are sought out, considered, and most often, result in positive action.. whether it be to help a school in need, help a child in a special way, or just join in with the community in its larger efforts to effect change.

It feels different, to be a part of that idea team, as compared to donating just money and not ever being involved in how it's being returned to the community.

Galt has many wonderful service organizations, Lions and Rotary, as well as Kiwanis, and has many generous church organizations - all of whom contribute to the special feeling of community this area has.. and hopefully will continue to have.

Kiwanis members have fun and work hard to keep the club's charitable funds flowing - watch us having fun... or join us (you do not have to be a member to volunteer to help... but membership itself is rewarding for the fun and friendships!).
